Another day in Busso

It's always great to be able to end the day in a nice relaxing way. And what better way, then at the beach. I love taking the boys to the beach; to watch them play and explore near the rocks. We are making the most of daylight savings and our living near the beach. They really enjoy these special times. And I cherish these moments with them; a little bit of innocence and a whole lot of fun and play.

Kindy

Tyson and Liam have settled in to Kindy routine very well now. They go on Tuesday and Thursday. They have a wonderful suportive teacher and a great classroom full of nice things to do. Tyson was first a bit sad when I had to leave but yesterday, he seperated from me just fine. They are getting so big and grown up and they make us really proud. There speech is improving all the time. Next week we go to PMH for another follow-up Sleep Study, to make sure their Sleep Apnea is no longer there. We hope the results come up just fine. Going by how much they have improved we are sure there won't be any problems.
Just took these pictures yesterday. They were about to go to Kindy and were looking so happy and cute. The last picture was taken in their classroom with the boys showing there teacher something. She is such a lovely lady and spends alot of special time with the boys. We feel very confident that they are going to have a great year. For this we are happy and thankful that all is turning out so great.

Tuesday's feature card

Today I had some time to play around with one of my newest stamp sets, 'Delight in Life'. It is definately a delightful stamp set and I had fun with this card. The background has been stamped with flowers and spots and then I've sponged Regal Rose and Certain Celery to colour in the whole card. The large flowers have been stamped in black, coloured in and then cut out and mounted with foam tape. To colour-in the flowers, I've used the Aqua Painter and ink from the stamp pad. I've used my scallop punch and stamped a sentiment from 'All Year Cheer' stamp set. Has been finished off with Certain Celery ribbon.

Cardstock: Regal Rose, Bashful Blue, Whisper White

Stamps: Delight in Life, All Year Cheer

Ink: Certain Celery, Regal Rose, Basic Black

Accessories: Carl Scallop Punch, Certain Celery ribbon, Stampin' write - Bashful Blue

Our beautiful coastline

On Saturday we had a really nice day driving down the coast a bit to have a look at Yallingup and Canal Rocks. The weather was a bit cool and windy which made for some spectacular sights, especially at Canal Rocks with the waves pounding over the rocks. The boys really enjoyed seeing this; but were just a bit hesitant when it came to crossing over the bridge at Canal Rocks. We have some amazing coastline down this way and it's all in our backyard. So we are sure going to enjoying visiting the many exciting places down this way.

Our day ended with having a drink at Symen & Gina's and then staying for a BBQ. A nice relaxing day!!

School bus

Since we now live about half hour away from school, Kyle goes to school on the bus everyday. This bus belongs to the families that live in Busselton and driven by some of the mums. We all meet at the bus stop in Vasse where the bus is parked. Kyle enjoys going on the bus and loves being with all the other kids. Here is a photo of him getting ready to go on the bus this morning.

Monday's cards - Sell-a-brations!

Got very much motivated and inspired to do some SU creations last night and today. Have used the 'Very Punny' set here with the 'Seeing Spots' set as background. With the 'chirp up' card I've used my new Large Scallop punch' (Carl punch) and oval shapes using Creative Memories cutters.

Just love all those little sayings! Enjoy!

Some pictures of our home

Well, finally some pictures of our house, for those that have not seen it yet. It's starting to feel like our home now with most of our stuff unpacked.

My very own space for my craft goodies. My room to enjoy being creative with Stampin'Up. It's so nice to have a special spot for it so I'm going to try and keep it looking neat.

A view of our kitchen.
The boys love sitting on the barstools and having their breakfast or snacks.
A new piece of furniture which we just got yesterday. Really happy with it. Warren says no more furniture now, 'cause he has had enough of lifting and shifting!! Okay dear!!
A view of our living area with our new leather couches. They are so comfy!!

Some pictures of the kitchen. Lots of space for everything. Quite an unusual shape being very long, but I'm loving it.

Well, there you have it. Some inside news on our house.

The boys & apples

Tyson & Liam just love apples. And when Renae came 'round oneday with a special gadget to peel/core/slice it was even better. It's a fun way to eat apples as it makes a big long peice of peel and then cuts the apple to pull out like a spring. Great to use for when making apple sauce and apple pie - yummy!!
Today I captured a moment of them with apples and happy smiles. Thanks Aunty Renae!!

Katie & Ben

Just this Friday gone, 2nd February, we celebrated Katie (my sister) & Ben's engagement. They had a party at Craig & Renae's on the balcony. Was a great night, lots of family and friends. We wish them a happy time of engagement and look forward to the big day, around March next year.
