Treasured Finds #3

It's time for another update of Treasured Finds.  I had a bit of op-shop fun yesterday and came up with all these treasures:

First up; some dutch delft blue beer mugs - the real thing, hand-painted - I couldn't let them go at $2.00 each!

Next up some candle holders - I think these are so sweet - they are matching and look hand-painted, but there's no markings as to where they are from.  Another bargain.
Some more tea-spoons to add to our collection - the boys collect tea-spoons from all round Australia - we already have quite a fascinating collection with lots of different stories to tell.

And lastly, some doilies and pieces of fabric - more cutting out and more flower making!  I even found two doily cusions - just need to find some cushion inserts.
Thanks for coming by.

Treasured finds: Weekly share #2

I hope you are all having a wonderful start to this week.  Mine has included lots of washing and catching up on house-work - I really hope it will include some crafting soon!!
I wanted to share with you a special little find - I treated myself to some gorgeous cushions  and just received them in the post last week - I heart doily cushions from Moose & Bird.  They are so pretty, now I have my eye on the pear cushions.

My Etsy store is closed for a few days.  I have piles and piles of doilies to cut and sort out into colour piles.  I have heaps of flowers to make.  So I'm giving myself a few days to re-arrange and add things to the store.
Please come back soon so you can see all the gorgeous new things I will have to sell!

Weekly share - Treasured finds #1

Not a week goes by, that I haven't found more doilies or other treasured finds.
I'm hoping to have a weekly post - sharing with you things that I find on my op-shop treasure hunts, outings to local markets and things that I love online!

This past weekend I went to my local Vasse Market and found a pile of gorgeous doilies, some so pretty and delicate; and a special one I had never seen before.  A certain stall had pieces of fabric, buttons etc.. and these doily delights were among them.

See how pretty - a heart doily.
I had to show some of this October Afternoon paper I have - this is from the Fly a Kite pack and I'm totally LOVING it.  Tommorow I will share a scrapbook layout with some products from this range.
But in the meantime, you can check here - Kristy from Delicious Papercrafting has opened her new online store and she sells October Afternoon papers, as well as many other delicious goodies.

And something for me - a gorgeous lacy top - it's so pretty and even has some crochet trim.  This was also from the markets.
And my last share - a hair pretty made by me.  This is something you can create using doilies.  A length of pretty fabric with layered doilies and a fabric flower, finished off with a button.
That's all for this week, come join me again soon when I share more treasured finds.
