Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge #3

Happy Australia Day!!!

Today I have a card to share for the Tickled Pink Stamp Challenges - it's a sketch one and a really fun one too.  I'm on a roll with these challenges and love having the inspiration everyweek to use some of my stamps.

So here's the sketch:

 I've used 60's Ivy from the Lolita's - the dress has been paper pieced and I've coloured the rest with Copics!
The papers are by Basic Grey - Olivia.
Some of the embellishments are an adhesive black heart (found at my local discount store), some paper roses, lace and a sentiment.

Lil Lolita Boutique Challenge #14

Lately, I haven't had much time to play around with extra challenges other than for the Design Teams  - but this past weekend, I got some extra stamping time in.  I made this card for the latest challenge over at Lil Lolita Boutique Challenges - the challenge this week is to use music sheets or something music related - how fun - I love incorporating music paper into my creations. Here's my creation:

I've used 60's Ivy which is available at Tickled Pink stamps in rubber and digital!

I've done a little paper-piecing on her dress using some Basic Grey paper and then coloured the rest in with Copics!  I've also added some glitter using my Spica pens.  These are fun but it's hard to pick up the effect on camera.

As well as adding in some music paper, I've also stamped music notes onto the Melon Mambo using a stamp from Kaisercraft.

I've made a cluster of flowers, which includes a hand-made ruffled flower using vintage bookprint and a rose to the centre.

Lastly, I've added in the sentiment - a stamp by Amy Rysavy - Summer Favourites.

Tickled Pink Stamps Guest card

Today I have a card to show you - it's another Lil Lolita for the Lil Lolita Boutique Challenges - the latest challenge is:  NO DESIGNER PAPERS; MAKE YOUR OWN.

And here's my card:

I've used Lil Lolita - Ivy - and you can find her right here at Tickled Pink Stamps

I've gone with Old Olive, Barely Banana, Kraft and White for this card -  not colours I would usually use together, but I think they work well together - I tend not to choose too many colours for the one project - usually two main colours and the one or two complimentary colours - for the background paper I've used Fifth Ave Floral and stamped up the large rose image in the green and yellow ink.

I've also made a circle from Banana cardstock, then added the En Francais BG stamp.  There's lots of sponging around the edges of all the cardstocks.

The cute Ivy image has been coloured with Copics and I've used stickles and glitter to add a bit of shine to her dress.

For the embellishments, I've used:

* wide lace from my stash

* pearl spray and leaf - Bizzy Becs - i love these pearl sprays and have just ordered a whole heap more.

* the crochet flower was from a dear friend and I've added a Basic Grey brad to the centre

* a circle sentiment and some rhinestones.

Lil Lolita Boutique challenge #2

The Lil Lolita Boutique has it's second challenge up and running.  I've made a card as guest designer.

Kellie gave us an inspiration picture to work with - isn't this cake so beautiful.  I was inspired by the swirls, roses and pretty colours.

And here is my card:

I've used Lilith for this card - I think she looks so shy!

I've coloured her with Copics, then used my oval cutters to cut out and also create a mat.

I've added some little flowers with a glittery brad to her hair.

For the embellishments, I've added lace, a pearl flourish, some fabric roses hand-made by me, some smaller white flowers from the Pretties Kit (SU) and a Martha Stewart butterfly punch-out.
