On Saturday we had a really nice day driving down the coast a bit to have a look at Yallingup and Canal Rocks. The weather was a bit cool and windy which made for some spectacular sights, especially at Canal Rocks with the waves pounding over the rocks. The boys really enjoyed seeing this; but were just a bit hesitant when it came to crossing over the bridge at Canal Rocks. We have some amazing coastline down this way and it's all in our backyard. So we are sure going to enjoying visiting the many exciting places down this way.

Great photos! We went to Canal rocks during our honeymoon trip...so cool to recognize those places! We have great video footage of the waves coming right over us- It was super windy that day.
Looks like you had a great time, relaxing and having a drive and then to come across smahing waves like this must be awesome. The last of saw of smahing waters like this was in Tassie Dec 06. Must be nice to have only a short drive to see that! The cooler weather is sure welcome before this coming midweek hot is back in the forcast.
Have a nice day and thanks for sharing your photos.
oops sorry bout the spelling of "smashing"
ooh wah, and then 2x "smashing error and "of" saw instead of I saw!"
...and forcast. You must have had a bad spelling day, JJ's.
Hi Chantelle,
Looks like you had a relaxing Saturday. No such luck for us, busy busy, trying to get things organised. Photos are great! Isn't it just a blessing to have the priviledge of living in a part of God's creation with such majestic landscapes? Hope you are all keeping well.
