caden

Hello - just popping in to share a new creation for The Scrapbook Store using my DT kit of Scoot by Echo Park - such a delightful collection to work with :)
more pictures of my youngest little man ☺  I've used lots of the brightly pattern papers and some of the sticker elements.  Have also been using my 'new' Silhouette - thanks to a friend who was selling hers;(thank you Marelize ☺) I now have one of these machines and am really having heaps of fun with it ☺ I've also used some Scrap FX chipboard and Kaisercraft Sparklets.  Here are some close-up's:
... a sticker banner with a flair button added to the top ...
... another cute sticker element and some of the sparklets ...
... and the cute Scrap FX chipboard light bulb - I've brushed it with some gesso to give it texture ...  the sticker letters are also from this collection.
I've used the sketch from Life.Paper.Scrapbook - this is their January sketch challenge!!  They are a quarterly online publication showcasing designers from around the world - I loved playing along with the sketch ☺

happy go lucky

Hello - I'm here to share a creation using my Design Team kit from The Scrapbook Store - this month I'm creating with Scoot by Echo Park Papers.  Such a fun and bright collection - I'm loving it.
Here is my first page:
I've used colours in the picture to go with the papers and then picked out yellow to add some 'pop' to the page - love how it turned out - such a fun and happy page with my little man ☺
Along with the papers in this collection, I also got to create with Scrap FX chipboard and some gorgeous washi tape.  Here are some close-up's of the details:
... a side view of the layers - I love adding many little layers to my pages, building it up and tucking in little bits here and there ...
... some of the many beautiful pattern papers in this collection - you can also see the blue arrow chevron washi tape along with bottom ...
... the beautiful chipboard from Scrap FX - I've covered it in gesso to create some texture, then painted over with some of the fabulous Silks Acrylic Glaze to give it some shine ...
... more washi and a wood veneer from Studio Calico ...
