camping adventures

I'm going along nicely with my DT kit for February for The Scrapbook Store - this collection Scoot by Echo Park has been heaps of fun.
I've gone with a more 'scenic photo' of my boys jumping into the pool at Pemberton - this one makes me laugh (as my journalling states)  they had their snorkle and goggles on, when it wasn't very clear water that they were jumping in to - LOL ☺
I've used some of the pattern papers to mat the photo and then used some of the papers to create some lettering and shapes using the Silhouette ☺  Have also used more chevron washi and some lovely twine.  Here are some close-up's:
... my typewriter journalling ...

... sticker letters from this Echo Park collection ... I have a manilla tag peaking out from behind the photo too ...

 ... some of my Silhouette cut-out's ...
... and more from the Silhouette as well as the washi tape along the side ...

Pop on over to the shop to see this entire collection - but better hurry because it's running out fast ☺  Don't forget about our monthly sketch challenge - check out the gallery for inspiration!
Thanks for coming by and I'll be back with one more page from this collection ☺

love your many expressions

Happy Monday - hope you've had a great day.  I'm sharing the new challenge over at The Studio Challenges - if you love washi tape - you will LOVE this challenge - the challenge is to create a page using no pattern papers and be creative with washi tape
This challenge was a good way for me to dig into my washi tape supplies and actually use them!!  And I loved the idea of not using pattern paper for a change ☺

Here's my page:

I've used washi tape in long strips behind my series of photo's and then filled in the spaces with stamps. I love my stamps and this was a fun way to add dimension to the page without using any pattern papers.
Here are some close-up's:

... different styles of washi to compliment the colours in the photo's - also a chevron stamp in the blue ink ...

... another view of the washi and also a very cute bike stamp from My Minds Eye ...

... I've also used my Silhouette for the title using some plain cardstock from Stampin'Up ...

Please link up your creation at the blog and be sure to check out the amazing inspiration from the Design Team - there are heaps of creative idea's.  Thanks for coming by ☺
