love you - Prima Feb challenge

Hello there!!  Starting this month off with the Prima challenge - I love the pretty pink mood board and all those flowers ☺  I dug into my small stash and got together some supplies and created this page!

 MIP challenge

I changed this photo to black and white so it would easily go with the colour scheme.

I always tend to go for a white background and keep some white space.  I don't often get the chance to use flowers on my pages, so I made sure to include lots!
These Prima blooms are just lovely.  I've even used some card from packaging which I had kept.
These gold letters from my stash make the title and I've used some watercolour and Prima stamps in the background.

It was so good to scrapbook a photo again ..... it has been a little while.  I'm hoping that this post will keep me scrapbooking a few more challenges this February ♥

Til next time .......................... ♥

cherish - Jot Mood Board challenge

Hey there, I really loved the look of the Mood Board from Jot Magazine and decided to play along!
Here's what I've come up with:

Most products are Heidi Swapp - her latest collections really seemed to fit in with this challenge.  I've done some fussy cutting and also used one of my favourite die-cuts - a flower by Stampin'Up!
Here are some close-up's:
I've reached into my stash for these assorted embellishments.  I love how it all came together.

Check out this challenge over at Jot Magazine - the DT have come up with some gorgeous inspiration!

everyday moments - June Mood Board - Jot Magazine

Hello there ☺  Hope you are well on this lovely Winters Day ☺
Today I'm sharing a page I've done using the Jot June Board as inspiration!
I love the colour hues and the idea of using doilies, stamps and the typewriter font.

MRDISRETROGREEN
I had this page on my desk, half finished, so decided to use it for this challenge.
The background paper is some lovely feather pattern paper by Glitz Design from their "77 collection".  I love the soft feel it brings to this page ☺
I've also used some bits by Teresa Collins - "family stories collection" - another favourite of mine.

Some pops of mint colour with the flowers and twine.  I've also done my journalling on the manual typewriter.  And I've stamped the date too ☺
I always love to add mini pegs to bring in that 'banner style' design - another favourite of mine too ☺

Thanks for coming by today and thanks to Jot for this fun challenge
Creating with love and happiness ♥

Scrap for Help - this was awesome fun

Hello July ☺  It's hard to believe that we are already half way the year.  We are mid -Winter but these past few days have been filled with sunshine - I love it when we get that kind of weather in Winter ☺
So the beginning of the month and it's challenge time - today I'm sharing the new challenge at Scrap for Help - this month it's all about BUBBLE WRAP.
I've used a piece of extra large bubble wrap, modelling paste, mists and paint to create my background.

I've applied all the mediums to the bubble wrap - firstly the modelling paste and then the colour - mist and paint.

Once I was happy with the coverage, I've placed my white cardstock over the top of the bubble wrap and pressed down.  And this is what you get:
I've used some of the excess for shipping tags!
So here is my page that I created for this challenge:
This page features my youngest man .... again ☺  This is just one of the things he loves to do .... ride through puddles - I'm sure that oneday he will love to see that I recorded these moments ♥
I've used my Silhouette as part of the title - just using the negative part of the cut-out.  I've made my title a little bit fun - using different alpha's and a chipboard bubble.
Here are some close-up's:
 A close-up of the title.
You can see the lovely texture from the bubble wrap - I've also put some sequins into the modelling paste and did a bit of stamping with a bubble-wrap stamp!  Love these Pink Paislee arrows and also the flair badges - this one is from A Piece of Cake Designs.
And there is another APOCD flair badge!!

Please pop over to the Scrap for Help blog and check out all the details for this challenge.  There's lots of lovely inspiration from the Design Team as well as great prizes for the winner ☺  We hope you can join us this month.
Thanks so much for coming by ♥
