Hello - just sharing a page that I created over the weekend at the Scrap Camp - it's a 'just because' page and it was great to create with 'no rules' attached. I love how it's turned out. And for a change ...... I've not gone with my usual banner style ☺
My youngest always gives me the brightest of smiles and they make the best photo's - I just love his face looking up at me here ☺
With the white background and subtle colours in the papers, the photo really pops off the page. Once again, I've used chevrons - I love them!!!!
Here are some close-up's:
I've applied texture paste to the background with a chevron mask. The chevron shapes are created using a photo corner punch. I've then stitched some buttons to add some interest.
Some more chevrons and a chipboard word ' love' .
The papers are all assorted collections from my stash. I've tied some twine around the photo and clustered a button and flowers.
Thanks for coming by to visit ☺

smile - Child's Play Challenges
I've been able to join in with a few challenges this month ☺ - here is one for Child's Play Challenges. One of their challenges for May is to use buttons:
I've used some pictures of my youngest at the park - a place he loves to visit on his days off from Kindy. I've created a banner style page, using two photo's and a little pocket from Studio Calico. I've used some texture paste, chevron punch-out's and buttons of course. Here are some close-up's:
The Studio Calico pocket - I've added in a Kraft tag with the word 'smile' stamped onto it. I have used an assortment of badges, buttons and layered paper embellishments.
Here I've used a chevron mask and texture paste. Then over the top I've added in chevron punch-out's and then a button. The round circle 'love' element is a stamp by Give a Girl a ....... Keen as Mustard Stamp Set - I use this one a lot!!
Some twine and pegs for the banner, more chevrons and the sticker title 'smile'. A perfect title for these pictures ☺
A fun and easy challenge and I'm so glad I got to play along - thanks to my friend Elaine for letting me know about this great challenge site ☺

Beach Boardwalk - Carta Bella - The Scrapbook Store
Hello - hope you are all well. I have a few more pieces of inspiration to share using my May DT Kit for The Scrapbook Store. I've been working with Carta Bella - the Beach Boardwalk collection - and have really been enjoying using the papers in this collection. They have brought a bit of Summer memories back ☺
Here is the first page:
I received some chipboard in my kit by The Scrapbook Store - one piece being a light-house. It worked out perfectly to use with these light-house photo's that I had taken on a holiday last year. It was also nice to scrapbook some scenic photo for a change.
Here are some close-up's:
Here is the lighthouse chipboard from The Scrapbook Store - Nautical Design - it's such a great piece - I've dabbed some gesso over the top - just giving it a light, rough covering and then once dry, added some ink to the edges and a bit of stamping too - love how it's come up ☺
You will also notice some texture paste in the background - I use Texture Magic - I use this quite a lot on my pages and I love how it's gives some interest to the page without taking away from the photo's. Don't be afraid to use it over your photo's too!!
The lovely big blooms are from Prima!!
Here I've added in some muslin, texture paste, beach shells and twine to give it that 'coastal feel'. The pattern papers which I've layered under the photo's are all in the Beach Boardwalk collection!
Another little piece of chipboard from the Nautical Designs Chipboard pack, a journal strip and the title uses letters from this collection to - 12x12 Alpha Stickers. You will notice I use my black pen a lot as well as my script stamp with ink. For me, this gives the finishing touches to a page and I love how it adds texture without the bulk.
Here I have another page that I completed on the weekend. I was lucky enough to be able to go to The Scrapbook Store Camp with a friend. It was lovely to meet up with Suzanne and Marelize once again and also meet the lovely Kim Price who is also on the Design Team for The Scrapbook Store. It was a fun, creative weekend and very relaxing too. It's always nice to have that break from normal routines and get away to do something creative.
This page uses more of the fabulous pattern papers in this collection as well a quite a few stickers - I love how so many paper collections these days, include lots of word and title stickers. And these photo's go back to January of this year, when we could enjoy lovely beach weather ☺
This sticker is my title for the page - I've matted it with white cardstock, so I could cut it out, ink the edges and then add foam tape to the back to pop it up a bit. This sticker is included in the Beach Boardwalk collection, but has been 'sold out' in the shop for now.
I like to use pegs and twine on my pages - just to make it a little bit fun!! These are little wooden pegs and I've stamped over them in ink. The twine is natural hemp twine.
The piece of chipboard is from the Word Bubbles pack - 2 Crafty Chipboard.
Once again, some more texture paste with chevron punch-out's using the pattern papers and a photo corner punch which I have had in my collection.
So I hope you have been inspired by this collection!! As you have seen, it works great for your beach or holiday snaps, but the pattern papers would be suitable for any theme of scrapbooking. Please check out the collection at The Scrapbook Store online ☺
Thank you for joining me this month - I'll be back soon with some other scrapbooking that I've done recently including a little peek at my Project Life album ☺

The Studio Challenges - May Challenge
There is a new challenge at The Studio Challenges - for this challenge we would like you to use only FIVE INGREDIENTS. As the sponsor for this challenge is Memory Maze - we would also like you to use a piece of chipboard!
Here's what I created:
Five ingredients only - at first I thought I'd really struggle with this one!!
But after picking out my pictures and a few items I really liked, it all came together ☺
My five ingredients are: 2 pieces of pattern paper, paper doily, chipboard and badge. Here are some close-up's:
The chipboard title is from 2 Crafty Chipboard - I've inked the edges and also used a script stamp over it. The two pieces of pattern paper have writing on them which I've used as a bit of journaling at the same time.
I've also used this cute ''smile" badge from Greatest View - their badges are just so cute!!
I've added in a few extra details like the stitching, stamping and pen outline around the border of the page!
Please check out the blog for all the details for this challenge. There is also some inspiration from the Design Team - we hope you can play along ☺

Beach Boardwalk - Carta Bella - DT Kit for The Scrapbook Store
For this page I've used a fun Summer picture of my boys!! I told them to run towards me and this is the picture I captured ☺ The background paper is the reverse side of Beach Ball - a sunburst effect. I've used some 2 Crafty Chipboard arrows to compliment the pattern and also some stickers from this collection. Here are some close up's:
The stickers here are from the 12x12 sticker element sheet - I've matted them with white cardstock and then popped up with foam dots to give some height. And I've added in a little white peg - I ♥ them!
Some journalling and stickers and chipboard arrows by 2 Crafty Chipboard - I've used the Acrylics Glaze to add some colour in red and yellow.
And some more sticker elements. As always I've added some ink with a script stamp and some randomly placed sequins.
All of these products are available at The Scrapbook Store as well as heaps more amazing products.
Thanks so much for visiting ☺

The Scrapbook Store - DT Kit - Beach Boardwalk - Carta Bella
I'm sharing two pages today - both about surfing in the waves - from a holiday we had a few years back ☺ And both of these pages are quite similar in design, featuring a banner!
Page One
Here I've used alot of the sticker elements as well as some Prima flowers and 2Crafty Chipboard - here are some close-up's:
A little cluster of Prima flowers and beach shells.
2Crafty Chipboard word: favourite- I've added some ink using a script stamp - the palm tree is a sticker from the 12x12 element sticker sheet.
Another Prima flower with some twine - I got these gorgeous Tatiana Oceana flowers in my kit!!
Page Two
For this page I've used strips of pattern paper from the collection and also more chipboard from 2 Crafty - this time some cool arrows. I've also done some stitching with the Sew Easy Tool. Here are some close-up's:
Some of the pattern papers I've used are: Tropical Borders and the reverse side of Little Sharks. The 'riding the waves' strip of paper was perfect for this page! I've also used more stickers from the elements sheet.
For the banner I've used buttons and white mini pegs along with orange twine.
Here you can see the line of stitching - I've used the Sew Easy Tool by WRMK. Also some of the cool arrows from the Assorted Arrow pack by 2 Crafty Chipboard - once again, I've used ink with a script stamp!
All of these products and accessories are available at The Scrapbook Store as well as heaps more gorgeous goodies!!
I'll be back soon with some more shares on this fabulous collection ☺

The Studio Challenges - May sketch challenge
Hello - hope you had a lovely weekend. It's another new week and school has started up again - so it's back into routine! A new challenge is up at The Studio Challenges - if you love sketches, then I'm sure you will enjoy doing this one:
I've pretty much stayed true to the sketch - just flipping it over to one side so I could use a vertical photo. Here's my inspiration:
Once again, I've used some papers by Glitz Design - I have really enjoyed doing many pages with this collection - Colour Me Happy. Here are some close-up's:
I've done my title with the Silhouette - love how it's turned out ☺
Some journalling - I'm really trying to focus more on having a little story to tell with the page - it helps that this photo is so recent, the memory is still fresh ☺
I love this element of the sketch and have used strips of paper and wooden buttons to embellish.
And some more strips of paper and a little chevron cut-out.
We would love to see you join in with our sketch challenge - please pop over to the blog for all the details and check out more inspiration from the Design Team.
Thanks so much for coming by.

Scrap for Help - May Challenge!!
Hey, hope your week is going well ☺ Popping in to share my Design Team page for the May Challenge at Scrap For Help. This month you need to use a napkin on your page - I wasn't quite sure about this one at first, but once I decided to use the napkin as another layer to my page, it all fell into place.
Here's my page:
I love this photo that my sister took of us girls with our mum ♥ I haven't created a feminine flowery page for a while, so this challenge was a great excuse ☺
I've just used an ordinary paper towel napkin and sprayed it with colour shine mist and scrunched it up a little before adding to my page - love how it's turned out.
Most of the products are by Prima!!
Here are some close-up's:
Love these wooden tags by Prima. I've used bits of the packaging as well, cutting out the little black banners to use as journalling.
Here are some gorgeous flowers and vines by Prima as well as some resin blossoms. The large tag is also some of the packaging! Recycle/Re-use ☺
More of the Prima wooden tags and flowers.
And a close-up of the napkin - I love the texture it brings to the page. So pretty ♥
I hope you feel inspired to create something with a napkin this month - it's fun and easy. Please check out the Scrap For Help blog and be inspired by the Design Team and their wonderful creations.

White with 1 - May Challenge
Hello - just popping in to share the May Challenge at White with 1 - sadly this is my last creation - I've been with this Design Team for 12 months and have totally enjoyed it - but it's time to move on and make way for new members ☺
So the challenge for May is White + Black + Banners/Badges!!
And here's what I created:
I'm a little 'crazy' about banners - so I went with that and used a new stamp set I just got from Give a Girl a ...... - this one is called "You are the Best" - I placed the little banners on a clear block so that I could get them nicely in a row ... and then stamped away ☺
The design of this page was totally random .... I kind of like how it turned out - just a little bit different ☺
Here are some close-up's:
I've used papers from Glitz Design - Colour Me Happy collection - these little arrow prompts on the paper were perfect for my journalling. I've also used a Pink Paislee chipboard arrow.
The little boy stamp is also from Give a Girl a ....... As well as the banners, I've added in two badges from Greatest View - just to add in a pop of colour ☺
And another view of the banner which I've completed with twine and cute white pegs.
Please check out the White with 1 blog for all the details and inspiration on this fabulous challenge - a big thank you to Mel for having me - it's been wonderful ♥

The Scrapbook Store - May Sketch Challenge
Welcome to Marvelous May - can you believe how quickly time is passing by? And we are already nearing the end of our two week school holiday break - we've just enjoyed some camping time at a lovely place near a river - perfect spot for the boys ☺
Seeing as it's the 1st of the month, I'm sharing the May sketch for The Scrapbook Store. This sketch is by Page Maps and I really enjoyed working with it:
And here's the page I created:
I've used the sweet collection of All About A Boy by Echo Park Papers - it matched in so well with these pictures of my youngest ☺
Here are some close-up's:
Echo Park do their sticker collections so well - this element of the sketch is make up of stickers from the12x12 element sticker sheet
... this balloon sticker is so cute - I've matted onto white cardstock and then attached to my page - I've also used one of the Prima Trinkets with an enamel dot to the centre ...
... I've cut out an arrow from the pattern paper and then attached a button for some added interest. I love how this sketch has allowed for lots of interpretation. I've finished off my page with stamping and spots of mist ☺
We hope you can join in this month - there is a $40.00 voucher for the randomly picked winner - check out the gallery for more inspiration ☺
