Hello, I hope you've all had a great week. I've scheduled this post, as we are still on holidays, so I can show you what I've created for Makeesha's next challenge. This week it's a sketch and here it is:
And here's my creation:
Oh this sketch was so much fun. I've used this sweet cupcake image - doesn't it look so pretty in pink!
Well, I've started out with a base card in Pretty in Pink - this card measures 5.5" square.
Then I've layered on some DP from Candy Lane. I've also added some strips as per the sketch with the same DP and also Riding Hood Red.
Next up, I've stamped up the image in Black Stazon, onto Watercolour paper, then used my SU markers and aqua painter to colour in. I've layered this onto a circle of Pretty in Pink.
I've used some striped Pink Pirouette ribbon, buttons and a rub-on for the sentiment. The rub-on is from the Hand-drawn bundle which is a Level 3 Hostess set. I love that saying!
Lastly I've added some rows of paper piercing.
I just LOVE all the pink in this card - will be perfect for a little girl!
So if you love this sketch and want to join in the fun, then head on over to Makeesha's website and you can see all the details, as well as her creation too. From here you can see all the links to view the creations from her Design Team. Be sure to check them out - they will be super. Have fun.
