Glitz Designs - Finnley - The Scrapbook Store

Hello and happy Monday ☺ I have another share for The Scrapbook Store - using Glitz - the Finnley collection.  I'm really enjoying these papers and the other bits from this collection - very easy to work with and super fun.

This is a very recent photo of our road trip that we made during the past school holidays.  And I've used the really cool 12x12 pattern paper Drip as my background.  It has a mixed media feel about it with the design of dripping paint - I've added in some white paint mixed with water, also using the dripping effect.  Love how it's turned out.  All the products on this page are from the collection - I've also added in a WOW wood veneer word and a Green Tara flower stem.
Here are some close-up's:

Sometimes I like to make my own embellishments.  This is a simple flower using a scallop punch - using different pattern papers from the 6x6 paper pad, punch out five scallops.  Layer together, distressing them as you go along.  Adhere together with a pin and then add one of the rhinestones from this collection.  I've also free-cut a leaf to add behind the flower.
The 'today' word is from WOW wood veneers - there are three different words in the pack and they are a lovely font.  I've used sticker letters from this collection to make my title.
I keep going back to 'banner style pages' ☺  Here I've made an arrow with a long 'kebab stick'.  Using the pattern papers I've free cut an arrow and some feather style leaves for the end.  I've attached some mini pegs and also added in the Green Tara flower.
I've also used the super cute feather roller stamp from this collection on the black paper which mats the photo - I love using white ink on black paper to give a 'chalk board' effect.

This collection is selling very well, but there are still some papers and embellishments left - please check the online store.
