Glitz Design - Finnley collection - The Scrapbook Store

Hello all ☺  I have one last share for the month - I've been creating with the Finnley collection by Glitz Designs for The Scrapbook Store.  I ♥ this collection ☺☺

I had this super cute picture of my oldest and youngest that I took very recently, so I thought I'd use it for this collection.  I've used lots of the stickers from this collection - the little sticker words are just great.  I've also used another wood veneer word from WOW.  Here are some close-ups:

I've filled the 'little moments' sticker with some of the word stickers  - the wooden heart button is from my stash ☺
I love to use my punches - here I've punched out the heart shape from the red paper and overlayed it so the pattern paper from the bottom layer is revealed.  There is that super cute wood veneer word from WOW chipboard.
The title is from the sticker sheet - I've outlined in black pen to really make it 'stand out'.
Here is that same heart punch again - I've layered four hearts, distressing them as I went along - then added in one of the rhinestones from this collection.
Other bits that I've added to the page are a paper lace doily, sequins and cotton thread.

 Products used:
6x6 paper pad - Finnley
Rhinestones - Finnley
cotton thread
paper lace doily
sequins
heart punch
script stamp
espresso ink

There is still a little left from this collection in store - please check it out ONLINE.
Thanks for following me this month with my creating - it's much appreciated ♥

Glitz Designs - Finnley - The Scrapbook Store

Hello - hope your week has gone wonderfully well ☺  Just popping in to share some more creations using Finnley by Glitz Designs for The Scrapbook Store.  I've been loving this collection - so fun to create with.

I've gone a little monochromatic for this page and I love the effect for this B&W photo of my little boy ♥  Also going with a vertical design for something a little different ☺I'm also one to not use a lot of pattern paper as my base but for this collection, I've already made three pages, each with a pattern paper background.  Maybe I'm not feeling so intimidated by them anymore ☺
As well as the lovely Finnley collection, I've also used a 2 Crafty chipboard feather.
Here are some close-up's:

Here are some of the stickers from this collection - I like to mat them on to white cardstock before I put on my page, this way I can pop them up with foam dots to add layers and dimension to the LO.  White cardstock also gives a nice little frame around your image which I love.
Here is that stunning feather from 2 Crafty Chipboard - it's so delicate and beautiful.  I've given it a white-wash effect with some watered down white paint.  Then I've inked the edges with some espresso ink and also added some mist with a shine.  Lastly I've popped on a rhinestone from this collection. I've added stamps and stickers to my photo so that it flows in to the design of the page.
I couldn't resist adding in a mini peg ☺  Here are a few more stickers and pattern papers from the collection and also some stamping with the roller feather stamp.

Products used:
6x6 paper pad - Finnley
Finnley - rhinestones
stamps
black pen
script stamp
espresso ink
mini peg

Please check out the entire collection in store - there is still some left ☺
Thanks for visiting and have a lovely weekend ♥

Glitz Designs - Finnley - The Scrapbook Store

Hello and happy Monday ☺ I have another share for The Scrapbook Store - using Glitz - the Finnley collection.  I'm really enjoying these papers and the other bits from this collection - very easy to work with and super fun.

This is a very recent photo of our road trip that we made during the past school holidays.  And I've used the really cool 12x12 pattern paper Drip as my background.  It has a mixed media feel about it with the design of dripping paint - I've added in some white paint mixed with water, also using the dripping effect.  Love how it's turned out.  All the products on this page are from the collection - I've also added in a WOW wood veneer word and a Green Tara flower stem.
Here are some close-up's:

Sometimes I like to make my own embellishments.  This is a simple flower using a scallop punch - using different pattern papers from the 6x6 paper pad, punch out five scallops.  Layer together, distressing them as you go along.  Adhere together with a pin and then add one of the rhinestones from this collection.  I've also free-cut a leaf to add behind the flower.
The 'today' word is from WOW wood veneers - there are three different words in the pack and they are a lovely font.  I've used sticker letters from this collection to make my title.
I keep going back to 'banner style pages' ☺  Here I've made an arrow with a long 'kebab stick'.  Using the pattern papers I've free cut an arrow and some feather style leaves for the end.  I've attached some mini pegs and also added in the Green Tara flower.
I've also used the super cute feather roller stamp from this collection on the black paper which mats the photo - I love using white ink on black paper to give a 'chalk board' effect.

This collection is selling very well, but there are still some papers and embellishments left - please check the online store.

Products used:
6x6 paper pad
rhinestones - Finnley
paper doily
kebab stick
scallop punch
white paint
mini pegs
script stamp
espresso ink

There has been lots of activity in the shop - heaps of new products and goodies have arrived - you can check out all the new products HERE.
Thanks so much for coming by ♥

The Scrapbook Store - Finnley - Glitz Designs.

Hello everyone - it's been a little while.  School holidays have now passed and we are back into the swing of things.  I've started creating with my Design Team kit from The Scrapbook Store - this month I'm working with 'Finnley' by Glitz Designs.
Woodland animals… Feathers… Trendy colors… Triangles… Full of Whimsy…  The Finnley collection is full of love, & will be perfect for babies, relationships, & everything else in between! (as quoted on the Glitz Design website)
Here is my first page:

This photo was perfect for this collection - my nephews and niece enjoying a special moment with their new sister - totally adorable ♥
I've put together this page using the pattern papers in this collection, as well as some stickers, the feather stamp roller, Green Tara flower stems and some WOW wood veneer shapes.
Here are some close-up's of the details:

I love pegs and creating bunting style pages.  This is one of the stickers from the collection which I've matted onto white cardstock.
And here is another sticker , also matted onto white cardstock.  I've also used a Green Tara flower stem as part of the banner, along with cotton thread.
The title is little words from the alphabet sticker sheet - the stickers are just so cute and can easily be added to your photo's for extra details.  I've also used a wood veneer word 'love' by WOW.
My journal work and some stamping with white ink and the little feather stamp roller, also from this collection.

Products used:
typewriter journal work
white ink
MS doily border punch
cotton thread
pegs

Please check this collection in store online - I hope to be back again soon to share some more inspiration using this fabulous collection. ♥

Studio Fourteen40 is an exciting new business who made their debut into the paper-craft scene in September this year. Owner and designer, Sandra Allan, is ecstatic that her 'baby' generated so much interest and excitement within such a short time.

Sandra, who lives with her husband Matt and their three children in Melbourne, Australia has a keen eye for detail and a love of design and colour. Having worked within the industry and alongside some amazing talent, Sandra had a deep seeded dream to launch her own collection of scrapbooking embellishments and make her own mark on the industry, eventually taking the plunge and giving birth to Studio Fourteen40.

Whilst it is early days at Studio Fourteen40 and Sandra has 13 collections of tin button flairs released, there are plenty more on the drawing board. Sandra has grand dreams for her business and cannot wait to share more of her designs and release other embellishments into her line.
