Hello crafty friends - hope you had a lovely weekend ☺ Last week I made some time to do the challenge over at the
123 Challenge Blog - I loved the look of their latest challenge - fun, pretty and pink and I've even managed that on a boys page ☺
Here is their September challenge:
COLOUR: PINK
WORD: SWEET
TECHNIQUE: FLORALS
... and here is my take on the challenge ....
I had recently taken these photo's of my youngest picking some strawberries from our garden. They fit in well with the challenge requirements.
I've used all-sorts from my stash - some pop up flower by Sassafrss (older line), Glitz Papers and some embellishments from my collection. ☺
Here are some close-up's:
A cluster of flowers - I still had some of these paper foldies by Sassafrass - oh they were great and I'm glad I got to use them on this page.
Lots of pink tucked into the page ☺
And the title of course .... sweet strawberries ....... using some little Glitz letters.
Check out the
123 challenge blog - they would love to have more participants for their challenges otherwise they may be closing it down ..... that would be a shame :(

What a fab page and you did well using the criteria for a boy's page. Love the details and how proud does he look with his strawberries? Very cute.

This looks wonderful.. the pink and florals suit this layout, love the layers and love the doileys there too!! and yes I hope lots more join in with the challenges, I think they are fun each month to do!!
Personally, I think you deserve a prize for doing this with a BOYS page!!! Totally fabulous & very cleverly incorporated flowers & pink!!!!!
