Tickled Pink Stamp Challenge #3

While we were away camping, I managed to colour up a few images - yes.... I took some crafting things - Copic markers and some stamps.  It was fun to sit in the camper all cozy and warm and be colouring!
I decided to use one of the images for the Tickled Pink monthly challenge - here is the sketch for this month:
And here's my card:

I've used this sweet image called Bye Bye Boy - by Mo Manning - Kellie had this one in her shop a month back or so and when I saw it, I knew it was def. a stamp I wanted for my collection.
So he's been coloured with Copics of course and then I've used the Labels 3 from the Nestabilities to cut out - I've also done the same for the Kraft and the vintage bookprint.
The base card is Kraft, layered with Tempting Turquoise and then some pattern paper from Bo Bunny.
Included in my embellishments are a turquoise doily, checked fabric button and a felt button flower - I'm planning to have some of these added to my shop soon - they are die-cut pieces of felt and vintage bookprint, with a button to the centre.  These are fun to use and great for boys cards or scrapbook pages!
The sentiment is also from the same stamp set.
Here's a closer look:

It's still school holidays here, so not alot of time for crafting.  My boys are obsessed with Masterchef, so this morning we did a little baking of cup-cakes.  I'll be posting some photo's to my Captured blog soon.
Thanks for coming by.

Hi Chantelle - fantastic card and I have to admit that the quote is from my favourite Dr Suess book that I believe anyone of any age needs to read! Sorry I had to delete the last comment - pressed go a little too quick!

Wow Chantelle, your colouring is stunning on this card. You are working so well with the copic markers. I wish you were closer and we could have a day stamping and colouring together :) I'm about to add a few more copics to my collection.

I love the bright colours of this card and I really love the felt flower. Am thinking I might need to go and get that stamp.

Have a great day.
