Hello, hope it's a lovely Friday your way - we are still camping, so I've scheduled this post to show you my card for the latest sketch challenge from the Inkspiration Challenges:
Here's the fun sketch from Keesh:
And here's my card:
I had a wonderful time creating this card. I've used some pretty paper from the Webster's Pages - Lullaby Lane & Life's Portrait - if you love vintage style, then you will LOVE these pattern papers.
One of these pretty patterns became the background for my card, adhered onto a base card of white.
I've layered lace and cardstock as per the sketch, then made an arrangement to go into the square element of the sketch.
Here's a closer look at the details:
I've made a rolled fabric flower with some seed pearls sewn to the centre.
For a tutorial on how I create these, see this post.
I've added some leaves and a pearl spray - all from Bizzy Becs.
Here I've added some lace to a strip of Pink Pirouette cardstock, then a string of pink pearls - also from Bizzy Becs - if you are after such pretties - she has lots of these goodies in stock.
Some more pretties - clusters of pearls - and a sentiment.I love the vintage feel to this card and I hope I've inspired you to play along with this sketch challenge - you will have the chance to be guest designer. Pop over to Makeesha's website to view all the details and be sure to check out the beautiful work from the Design Team gals:

I look forward to catching up with your entries soon - thanks for coming by.
