Inkspiration Colour Challenge #

Hey there, it's Friday and time for another fun challenge over at Inkspirations - these are the colours for this weeks challenge:
And here's my card:
These colours lean more towards boyish colours and seeing as it's my son Kyle's birthday this weekend, I decided to make a birthday card for him!!
I love this set by Stampin'Up - Lots of Bots - I think he will like this card too!
The image has been stamped onto SU watercolour paper and I've used inks and aqua-painter to colour in.  Then I've used my Nested Labels 3 to cut out and did the same for the Mustard cardstock.
While I had my Cuttlebug out, I pulled out an embossing folder and used this on the Cocoa cardstock to created a textured background.  I've also used my sewing machine to add some stitching around the edges.
Then I've added some lace trim, buttons and brads to finish off the card.

It's turned out rather sweet - hope you like it too.
If you'd love to join in with this weeks challenge, head over to Makeesha's website at Inkspirations to view all the details and see her inspiration too.  By entering the challenge, you have the opportunity to be our guest designer for the following challenge.
Here are the links to the Design Team - pop in their blogs too and give them some comment love:

HI Chantelle,
definitely a very sweet boys card. The embossed background works so well with the robot. Love that brad too:)

Hi Chantelle

What a gorgeous card, I love the image you have used and the embellishments you've added work so well with it. What a perfect card for your son's birthday.

Sorry I haven't been to visit in a while, I've had a few things happen in the last month or so that threw me a curveball and it's taken some time to find my feet again. Am going to now go and have a proper browse through all your wonderful work. I hope you are doing really well.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Love
Lee-Anne
