hey you - white with 1 scrapbooking challenge

Hey there, last day of the month and I'm just squeezing in the scrapbooking challenge from White with 1.

ww1 hemlock
Here's what I've come up with for this colour!
A page for my oldest son - he's a rather cool lad ☺
Most of the products are Heidi Swapp - some new and some older collections.  I also hav a bit of a geometric theme happening with the triangles.
Here are a few close-up's:

A bit of texture paste and stamping ...
This is one of the 'resist tags' from Heidi Swapp used with the Seafoam Colour Shine.  I've sprayed the wood veneer with the same mist as well.

I'm off to link it up.
See you in April ♥

Scrapbooking for Scrappy Canary

Hello and a happy Monday to you.
Last week, I had a few scrapbooking shares on the Scrappy Canary blog and I thought I'd also share them here.  I've had a great time this month, creating with the latest scrapbooking kit.
The kits are just gorgeous, filled with great pattern papers and fun embellishments.  The shop also stocks more wonderful products for your scrapbooking and Project Life needs ☺
Don't for get to use the code 'chantelle10' to receive a 10% discount when you order from the shop!

I loved using the frames in the kit and for this page, I've used it as an accent over the photo.  A great way to hi-light your subject.  I've also used some lovely rub-on's over the photo.

Because I used a pattern paper as the background, I didn't use anymore paper, but rather focused on some fun embellishments, including the frames and cork stars.

This page here folds into a cute little mini album - you can find more details about the album in this post HERE.  These are so quick and easy to make and would be a great little keepsake or gift.

The new kits have been released in store; I can't wait to have a play and share my inspiration.

Thanks for coming by ♥

you shine

Hello again, today I'm sharing a scrapbook page!  In February, I had the honour of having one of my scrapbook pages on the cover of Scrapbooking Memories magazine. How exciting!!
I thought I'd share the full page here; as I love how this page came together.

It features my littlest man, who is always obliging for a photo - this photo was actually taken by my oldest son, who is pretty good behind the camera ♥  I was happy to use this photo for a scrapbook page, as it really captures a happy and fun moment.
I've used mostly Heidi Swapp products!
Here are some close-up's:

And here he is, proudly holding the magazine ☺
Thanks for coming by.
I have some more 'scrappy' shares for Scrappy Canary over the next few days, so I will be back soon. ♥

wip: wednesday

Hello there ☺ Today I'm sharing my finished weaving project (so technically not a 'work-in'progress anymore ☺)
It proudly hangs on the wall in our entry, which has just had a make-over!

I love how it's turned out - it's bright, it's full of texture and it makes me happy ☺
Here are a few close-up's:

Played around with a bit of fringing in this one, using different fibers and yarn.
I always love the roving - reminds me of fluffy clouds!
And another view of the bottom fringe that finishes off the weaving.

So this is officially my third weave that I've finished.  I wonder if I can find another spot in my house, for another weave ♥

Thanks for coming by ♥♥

march sketch challenge - scrappy canary

hello there, hope you are having a wonderful weekend and finding some craft time ☺
Just popping in to share the monthly sketch for Scrappy Canary.
This month we have a fun, grid style, which could be interpreted in so many ways.

I've used the Brave Scrapbooking kit to create this page and made good use of the frames by Simple Stories.
I used a number of smaller pictures and then added in paper and embellishments to the rest of the squares.

I've used Sticker word phrases from the embellishment kit and also added in some typewriter journalling.
Apart from the stamping, all the products are available at the Scrappy Canary Store.

We hope you can join us for this months sketch challenge - a $10 voucher to the store will be for the winner ☺

Thanks for coming by ♥

wip: wednesday

Hello there and happy Wednesday.
It's been a few weeks since I've shared some 'work-in-progress' !  Over the past month, we've been re-doing our entry area and making it a bit more fresh.  I don't have before photo's, but we painted the face brick wall.
I love how it's turned out!  I've been adding some colourful touches with pictures and home decor - it's been fun.
We have quite a big entry, so this is just one section!

If you are a K-Mart fan, you will recognise some of the pieces ☺

These pictures frames which I had previously painted held some photographs.
I've changed it up a bit and created some 'word art' pieces.
The top one is using my Silhouette - I've cut it out on white cardstock and backed with some Heidi Swapp paper.
The 'in this house' frame .................. was inspired by Pinterest - love that place
I've downloaded a chalkboard background and used my Word program to add in the text.
This piece will provide some good reminders for me and my family ♥
And this one here is simply some Heidi Swapp pattern paper, with a glittery frame and wood veneer word - scrapbooking style in a frame. (all Heidi Swapp products)
Last year, I completed a couple of weaves - they were so much fun and I've been wanting to do some more.
Procrastinating aside, I finally am making another!  There is a bit of a colour theme happening and when it 's done, it will sit nicely on the painted wall near the galah ☺
I love the texture that the roving makes ................

I will share the finished weave soon ☺
Thanks for coming by ♥♥
