White with 1 - May challenge

 Hello everyone - hope your week is going well ☺
Today, I'm popping in to share a page that I've created using the challenge at White with 1 - I always love their colour challenges - though gold was a little more challenging ........

 Here's what I've come up with:

 I had this great picture of my mum with her girls!!  From there I pulled out all the bits of gold I could find in my craft room stash, including some gold embossing powder and paint ☺

A fun challenge and I love how this page turned out.

once upon a sketch challenge - May

 Hello - hope you are enjoying the weekend!!  Yesterday afternoon, I spent some 'crafty time' at my craft desk and created a page for the Once Upon a Sketch challenge for May.  I always enjoy their sketches and the theme was: ANYTHING ☺
So I picked out a picture from my pile and created .............

Here is the sketch - I've popped the photo on the other side of the page!

I love the feeling of freedom in this picture and really wanted to create something pretty.  So I picked out some Prima goodies and just had some fun ...........

a few changes ...........

Hello to you all ☺
Its been a few weeks since being on my blog ....... I've had a little 'time away' ☺
I'm excited to share that I'll be making a few changes around here .........

You will notice my new blog header with a new name:
  Creative-ness . around my home

This reflects me and my life. It will be more of a 'lifestyle' blog. I'd like to share more about the things I love and do:  still Scrapbooking but also Project Life, crochet, my passion for healthy living, including my baking and cooking, inspirational verses and things around my home .........
I love taking pictures of my creative-ness! For me, taking pictures is a way of recording moments in my life.  Having this blog, allows me to share my passions and hobbies, and record what is important to me.
