Update.....

I thought it was time for a little update. Days just fly by and before you know it, another week has passed by. Tommorow Caden is six weeks old. We had a check-up with the health nurse today and he is doing just great. Putting on heaps of weight - he came in at just under 5kg. As you can see in the photo's, he is getting very cute chubby cheeks. He's still smiling heaps, loves making eye contact and baby noises. He's just a pleasure!! These photo's were taken last night at the dinner table while in his dad's arms. He even put on a little smile for the camera.

I also managed a card this week for someone in our church whose just had a baby boy! And I got to use my new Nursery Necessities with the co-ordinating wheel Nursery Letters. This is one of the sets from Septembers Promotion!! I'm glad I finally got this one as I know I'll be using it heaps in my scrapbooking as well.

The layout I've used is CASED from the Idea Book & Catalogue - pg 85 and is also a challenge for this week over on the Demo Forum and Makeesha's blog. There are so many great cards in the Idea Book and it's so easy to pick one, choose different colours and a stamp set and make it your own. Quite often, we can over look this valuable resource when stamping and looking for idea's. I'm def. going to try and use it more often now after being inspired by Makeesha's great idea's from the Regionals.

ooh I could just kiss those chubby cheeks - he's such a darling with his little smile. It's so nice to see you enjoying this precious time. Lovely card too. I too am starting to take more inspiration from the catalogue - it makes it so easy! Enjoy!

Thanks for the well wishes. Great to see you blogging when you can.

Caden has such a familiar look - he looks just like his brothers! He is absolutely adorable. I keep saying it, but it's so true! He sure is getting chubby! Such a blessing to have a healthy little one:)

Your card is great. You're right, the Idea Book is usually the last place we go to inspiration. I'm going to try it out tonight! Thanks for the tip:)

Hi Chan, was lovely to see you and your family and even Caden in church, although you dissappeared and never returned. Well you and Caden both looked very well:)
Love your card and i agree the caddy is a ver valuable tool, we often just want to make our own designs up, but what a time saver to use it!
Take care and sure you loved catching up with everyone again:)
