love you

Hello crafty peoples ☺  We are at the start of Term 1 school holidays here and it feels great to have a relaxing two weeks ahead of us.  Nice to have a break from 'normal' routines and spend some extra time with the kids.
I have a couple of great collections to work with this month for The Scrapbook Store.
First one is October Afternoon - Daily Flash All Boy - very suited to scrapbooking my boys ☺

Project: April DT work - The Scrapbook Store
Title: Love you

I love seeing my boys 'hang out' together and I snapped this great picture of them recently.  I teamed it up with a few of the pattern papers in this collection and added in some texture with stencils.
Here are some close-up's of the details:

I just love this woodgrain paper - I've gone over some parts with modelling paste, smearing it over with a palette knife and in other sections I've used a stencil - this one is by Memory Box - the alphabet one!
I've also arranged some of the embellishments in this collection - Tin Pins, Die-cuts & Memory Cards.
I've used a photo-corner punch to create the chevrons with some of the pattern paper.
Here is another section of the page where I've used modelling paste.  For my title I've used the Daily Flash Storybook Stickers in Blue.
I like to use my black pen lately to add extra details, especially outlining around embellishments and creating borders along paper edges.

Products used:

Modelling paste
black pen
script stamp
espresso ink
photo corner punch

I'll have some more inspiration for you soon - I've been doing some Project Life with this collection, so stay tuned ☺
