enjoy these moments

Hello - I have one more page to share using my November Design Team Kit from

Here I've used a simple design to create this page using a picture of my boys eating an ice-cream - Saturday afternoon treat ☺  I've used some of the dot 12x12 pattern paper, A4 washi sheet, a Poppy Stamps die-cut, a snappy saying card and additional embellishments to finish it off.
With the A4 washi sheet, I've used it as a photo mat in this page - simply cutting a square and tearing the bottom edge - it's so easy to work with and versatile too.  Some of my favs to add to pages are: chevrons, sequins, buttons, splatters of mist and cotton thread.

build a calendar

Over the past weeks, I've been joining in with the challenge over at Aussie Scrap Source - Build a Calendar.  Each week, there have been two sketches for two months from each of their Design Team.
I thought I'd give you a glimpse at my new calendar - so happy that I managed to finish the whole project ☺

Sketches are a great starting point for a page, so it was fascinating to work with the different sketches each week, which reflected the styles of the Design Team.
Thanks Aussie, for another great challenge ☺

Happy weekend everyone and hope you get some crafting time in ☺

little helper

Hey, hope you are having a great start to this new week - student free day and we are all loving the relaxed pace - looking forward to school holidays ☺
Just popping in to share another page use the fabulous and fun collection Sn@p Life by Simple Stories - for The Scrapbook Store:
I've gone with one of my favourite designs for this page - a banner style - showcasing some of the cute 3x4 Sn@p cards, washi A4 sheets and Sn@p sticker letters.  I've used a whole 12x12 sheet of paper for the base card - Teal/Calendar - I love the teal colour with the pop of red from the photo (once again of my littlest man ♥ )

In my previous LO, I used circles of washi - here I've used the negative from the A4 sheet and added it to the background for some interest.  Have also used sequins, buttons and Colour Shine to the page as added texture.
The Hot Air Balloon from Memory Box is fast becoming one of my favs - here I've used cardboard and some of the pattern paper to create this fun little embellishment ☺

Products used:
OA buttons
White ink
Sequins
Computer journalling

Hello - back to share some more using my Design Team Kit from The Scrapbook Store - this time using:  Sn@p Life by Simple Stories.
If you love Smash Journals, Project Life and recording every day moments then this is the collection for you.  It's a large collection of assorted bright papers, snappy thought cards, journalling cards, fun stickers and chipboard dividers.
Here's my first LO's using some of the fabulous collection ☺
I'm using my Instagram photos for this - I love the idea of capturing every day moments and Instagram makes that very easy to do ♥  I've used a simple 'block style' for the design, with white cardstock for the base and some of the snappy sayings in between. I've also used some of the A4 washi sheet by We R Memory Keepers.  Here are some details:
... the title uses letters from the Sn@p sticker letters pack ...
... I've used some assorted circle punches to make the circles from the washi sheet - it's so great to have washi in A4 sheets - there's many great ways to use it ☺

You can check out the whole collection in store - I'll be back to share more Sn@p Life inspiration very soon.  I'm having a great time creating with it ☺

nearly four

Hey, hope you are having a great weekend!!  The weather is a little grey and rainy here so I thought I'd share my latest page for The Scrapbook Store using the Yours Truly collection by Glitz Design
I usually go for white card stock as my base, but the papers in this collection have been so beautiful to use as the background; just with the right amount of pattern, design and colour ☺ This 12 x 12 paper is called Stripe!!
I've used a collection of pictures of my littlest man just before his fourth birthday.
Here are some close-up's:
... do you like my photo mat - the lid of a jar ☺☺ ...
... I've layered some of the beautiful pattern papers and also a frame from the Watnots pack ...  some resin blossoms and rosettes using the Tim Holtz mini rosette die-cut ...
... these sweet balloons are created from the Memory Box die-cut - Hot Air Balloon ...  I've even used some washi for one of the balloons - We R Memory Keepers have full A4 sheets of coloured washi - so many ways to use this, including with your die-cut machines ... ☺ ... and the very cute Prima domino trinkets ...

... have also used the puffy words through-out the page ...

I hope I have inspired you to check out this amazing collection - it really can be used for so many different styles of scrap-booking - you can view the entire collection at
  The Scrapbook Store.

TOTALLY adore this background paper - it's called Polka and is a gorgeous yellow with a distressed look - so this is my base!  Once again, I've layered some of the papers and frames together and have also added in some texture paste using a new Kaisercraft mask. I've also used some more of the aqua washi - which comes in full sheets of A4.  Here are some close-up's:
... a cluster of Prima flowers with a cute Prima domino love trinket ...  I've used the new Kaisercraft clock mask along with some texture paste and some misting - the quote is a rub-on also from Kaisercraft ...

new norcia

Hello - hope your week has gone well - I have another page to share - this one is for ARTastic - the November challenge - sounds crazy to be saying November - I cannot believe how quickly this year is passing by ☺
The inspiration piece for the challenge is this lovely quilt - how clever and detailed is it?  The challenge for your project is to use fabric and stitching - lots of fun!!

Here's what I've come up with:
... not quite as detailed as the quilt, but rather a bit more simple ☺  I've included some purple fabric as a mat to my photo and also stitching on the fabric...
These are some photo's of our recent camping trip - we stayed at so many places and saw many interesting sights - I would love to make an album with at least once page of each of the places we stayed ☺
Here are some close-up's:
... a crochet flower with a fabric covered button ... AC thickers and tiny star buttons ...
... the purple fabric and stitching - I've used some resin blossoms and also some script stamping in the background ...
... my ever faithful typewriter for journalling (as my printer has decided not to print text anymore :(

Please check out the ARTastic blog for all the details - this is a great and easy challenge and we hope to have lots of players this month - great prizes up for grabs too ☺

Thanks so much for visiting ☺
