pure delight

It has certainly been a different week - big storms, no school and the flu - has been keeping us very busy.
The storms have left us now and thankfully not too much damage.  The kids are at home as their school still has no power.  And a few of us are finally getting over a bad flu ☺
I'm here to share another LO using my DT kit from Handmade by Suzanne - I was given the awesome range from Echo Park - Paradise Beach - I've been enjoying these papers so much ☺

I've used some of the 'softer' tones of papers for this page and I just love how it's turned out.  Helps I had some cute photo's of my little boy, taken by my sister ☺  Once again, I've used the Daisy Fan punch as it really suits the beach theme.  Here are some close-up's:
... some rolled flowers which I've made from the pattern paper - so easy to make and I just cut them 'free-hand' - each flower will be unique ... some twine with a tag and have also used some of the little letters from the sticker sheet ...
... I received this Kaisercraft wooden flourish in my kit - for this one I first painted in the various colours and then while wet, I sprinkled some sand over the top ... I've added in some muslin in the background ...

I hope you like what you see - be sure to check out Handmade by Suzanne for your scrap booking supplies.  I have two more LO's from the paper collection to show you, so I'm sure you will be seeing them soon. ☺
