Stuff 2 Scrap - Scrappy LO

Happy Friday!! I love Fridays - they have that relaxed feel about them knowing that there's no school routines for the next few days. Today I have a scrappy LO to share using some fabulous chipboard from Stuff 2 Scrap. I'm wading my way thru the pile of goodies we received and used some on this LO:

I've used a white 12x12 base on which I've lightly sprayed some glimmer-mist.  Then I've taken some twine and stitched it using my sewing machine - if you have the twine between the guide foot, then as you go along, the twine just follows along and gets stitched in place - really easy and fun - i think it helps that this twine is a little thicker.  I've used the green/white here - check out my shop which has lots of different colours.

Here's some close ups:

Here I've used the chipboard Story Block #2 - I've poped out some of the smaller stars and glued them above the block and also stitched in some star buttons.  I've sponged the edges and used it as part of my title with some small Carolees Creations alpha's.  I've added some chucky glitter and Stickles to the stars too.
Here I've used a chipboard word 'dream' - first up I've painted the word in blue and then I've added some gloss to make it shine - it looks great and I've managed to capture some of that shine in the picture too.
Here's a cluster of assorted embellies - I've love putting them together - there's a hand-made flower by me, a big birdie button from the Chip-Chop Shop and a spotty button from Lil Red Rocket.  And of course I've added in a doily and some doily trim!
Hope you like - pop over to Stuff 2 Scrap  to check out all their fabulous products.
Happy crafting.

Wow this is fantastic!!! I really love your layout and what you've done with the chippie - particularly the little journal block. So cool! :D
