The Lollipop Ladies - Challenge #1

It's finally here, the first challenge for The Lollipop Ladies.  We hope you will be inspired by the sweet fort-nightly challeges to create cards, scrapbooking LO's or other crafty projects!  The very first challenge is to create something using this sweet inspiration - a Banana Split and the bonus challenge is "Sprinkles".

Here's my card:
I drew my inspiration from the colours and the ice-cream!  I've used this sweet image by CC Designs - Sweet Kiki La Rue - she's been coloured with Copic Markers, then I've used the Nested Labels 3 to cut out and emboss.
Papers are by Stampin'Up and October Afternoon - I think the combination of yellow, pink and chocolate work well with this inspiration picture.
I've added some pink lace, a yellow doily, and glittery brads for the embellishments.
The ice-cream is a clear stamp from my stash, once again I've coloured with Copics, then cut out and added to the card. Lastly I've added in a sentiment and a Jenny Bowlin stick pin.
The bonus to the challenge was Sprinkles so I've added chunky glitter to both ice-creams - don't they look the yummiest.
Here's a closer look:
We would love you to join us in our first challenge.  All the details and inspiration from the Design Team can be found at The Lollipop Ladies blog.  Can't wait to see all the fabulous entries.
